We developed a highly advanced conversational chatbot powered by LangChain, integrated with Azure OpenAI as the generative AI model source. The solution employs a multi-LLM pipeline to accurately analyze and respond to user queries.

Tailored Conversational AI for Precision Queries
The client required a conversational chatbot for internal employees to query company documents. The bot needed to avoid providing generic answers outside the database while being capable of engaging in meaningful conversations by asking clarifying questions when necessary. To address this, we developed a chatbot using LangChain, integrated with Azure AI Search as the vector database and Azure OpenAI as the generative AI model source. The solution implements a multi-LLM pipeline to analyze user queries, determining whether to retrieve information from the RAG (Retrieve and Generate) model or provide a generic response. Additionally, the chatbot evaluates if a user query contains all the necessary elements to generate an accurate answer and, if not, proactively asks for further details.
The chatbot effectively met the client’s requirements, delivering accurate, context-specific, and relevant responses while functioning as a dependable virtual assistant. By streamlining document querying for internal employees, it enhanced productivity and operational efficiency. Currently, efforts are underway to implement an agentic workflow using LangChain or autobots to further enhance the chatbot's capabilities.
