MOO-ID is an innovative, mobile-centric solution that leverages computer vision, machine learning, and AI to uniquely identify cattle. By capturing biometric markers such as the muzzle pattern—unique like a human fingerprint—MOO-ID enables precise identification. Using mobile phones with standard-resolution cameras, the app captures images of cattle. These images are then uploaded to the cloud for future verification. The system employs advanced feature extraction algorithms to validate each image, with only the highest-scoring records being accepted. MOO-ID also considers attributes like color, breed, age, special marks, and ear tags to further ensure accurate identification, providing a secure, tamper-proof solution for managing cattle identification and documentation.
